Clinical Affairs Specialist (CRA)

【Primary Function】 This role is responsible for managing study documentation and operational progress using Clinical Trial Management System, while maintaining the highest quality standards in clinical study execution. The position oversees documentation and study management support across clinical studies, including clinical investigations, post‑marketing surveillance, and clinical research, ensuring that all clinical study data comply with applicable regulations and SOPs. Leveraging prior CRA experience, this role as a Clinical Site Operation (In‑house CRA) provides the opportunity to oversee clinical studies from a broader perspective and to support both operational and quality aspects of study execution. Additionally, the role collaborates with APAC and global partners to drive continuous process improvements across the organization. This position is ideal for those who aspire to pursue various career paths in the future, including People Manager and Project Manager roles. 【Major Responsibilities】 ○ CTMS Management : Ensure compliance with clinical protocol and applicable regulatory requirements such as GCP, ISO14155 or GPSP through appropriate management, review, and maintenance of site-level TMF documentation in accordance with Work Instructions. ○ Study Management Supports: Maintain study progress in the CTMS. In partnership with Abbott assigned field staff and in-house personnel, coordinate and support site activation and site close-out activities for clinical studies, ensuring completion, accuracy, and compliance of all required documentation, processes, and study materials. ○ Study Document Development and Maintenance: Develop and update study specific documents in collaboration with internal/external personnel/parties.　 ○ Inventory Management for Clinical Trials: Manage clinical trial inventory in accordance with applicable regulations and internal procedures, including vendor management (e.g., courier and logistics providers), development of study -specific Inventory Management Plan, and coordination of shipment and return instructions for investigational devices.

【部門について】 Surgical Operation Unit (サージカル)では、外科用医療機器メーカーのパイオニアとして、外科手術で使用されるステープリング、エナジー、スーチャー、ヘルニアなどの医療機器を中心とした製品を取り扱っています。また外科手術支援ロボット及びデジタルサージェリー製品部門と共に構成された事業部になります。 【業務内容】 医療用大型機器の設置・保守点検・修理サービス ○顧客への設置前確認・設置・定期点検・修理・ソフトウェアアップグレード・技術問合せ対応業務の提供 ○新規市場導入に関わるサービス準備サポート ○サービス業務管理（設置情報管理、苦情情報管理、保守パーツ管理、測定器管理、等） ○営業デモ・顧客トレーニングサポートおよびデモ機メンテナンス ○関連部門との業務連携 ○保守サービス契約販売推進 ○海外製造元とのコミュニケーション、海外トレーニングへの参加 ○法規制遵守（薬機法、関連法規、修理業、QMS関連）

【Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives】 The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies for consumers to enhance brand equity and drive market competitiveness, including NPD and project through key milestone management. This role involves cross-functional collaboration across other function including HCP marketing, Pacific Asia marketing team, medical, Public Affairs, CE, product development, advertising, and sales to ensure brand consistency and growth. 【Key responsibilities】 ○ Lead to implement the aligned brand strategies and plans for consumers. ○ When necessary, conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine brand positioning ○ Plan and manage advertising and promotional campaigns in line with the strategy. ○ Collaborate with HCP marketing team and regional marketing team to ensure brand alignment in product development. ○ Own the brand communication on digital and social media to enhance brand awareness for superior consumer experience. ○ Follow through on set KPIs and analyze performance metrics ○ Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders when it comes to any brand-related activities. ○ Create the consumer journey, based on consumer insight and feed into the value chain and eco-system management together with business development manager. ○ Develop robust KPIs to effectively measure and report on content and message effectiveness in driving sales. ○ P&L management experience is a plus. 【Core Job Responsibilities / Accountability / Scope】 ○ All brand management in scope of BtC, Glucerna® and Abound®. ○ Develop annual planning based on the 5 year Strat Plan. ○ Lead projects cross-functionally and/or intercompany as required basis. ○ Manage the product life cycle, meeting all required regulations with HCP marketing. ○ Develop promotional materials in cooperation with HCP marketing and medical. ○ Take initiative to establish and maintain strong relationships marketing-owned influencers and agencies. ○ Communicate with international and external stakeholders to leverage Abbott’s global presence as the global market leader.
